| The war of image is omnipresent in all the museums we went to. Caricature must ridicule and destabilize the enemy. From left to right, and from top to bottom : English caricatures from Zek (BWE), anonymous Russian one (IWM) a french one from the artist André Girard (coming from Chinon), a Danish one from Marinus Jacob Kjelgaard, a Soviet one from Kukriniksi, a Polish one from Arthur Szyk. They all announce the soon fall of nazism. |
